My workflow
I usually pick a topic and write it first in English, and then I translate it to other languages. I periodically revisit articles and try to improve them based on my knowledge and do not indulge in translation aiding tools because I want to learn and to track down my errors by myself.
I write fast and do not worry about translation mistakes, I try to translate strictly from my knowledge only occasionally using google translate to translate words.
Rules
I can use google translate or other translation tool to find a translation for a word or two connected words but I try to use translation aides as less as possible.
Translation won´t be one on one translation and sometimes I reword the translation but keeping the idea. However I must note that I revise my translation I try to make the wording similar to the original of the text in English.
The original content in English also will be revised for example I get new ideas when translating that I want to include in the original.
